GRAVITATON NUMERICALS

1.  The  value of force of gravity on a body of mass 60kg was found to be 588N. Find the value of G taking mass of the earth  6X1024 kg and radius of the earth is 6.4X106 m.
2. calculate the gravitation force between Jupiter and sun. given that: mass of Jupiter  =1.89X1027 kg mass of sun =2X1030 kg radius of Jupiter    orbit = 7.7X1011  m and G= 6.67X10  Nm2 /kg2 .
3. if you  weigh 40 kg on the earth , how far away from the surface of the earth you weigh 20 kg?
4. when a ball is thrown vertically upwards ; it travels a distance of 19.6m. Find (i) the initial velocity of the ball. (ii) the time taken by the ball to come back on the ground. (g=9.8 m/s)

5. A stone  is dropped from
